You can train to be a good stockbroker

A stock broker’s jobs involve buying and selling stocks and shares and other instruments such as bonds on behalf of his clients. His world revolves around the Stock Exchange. If you wish to be a stock broker you need to have a B in GCSE level math, high A level grades and a good undergraduate degree preferably in economics, finance or investment management.

If one wants to be a stockbroker in the UK one must complete one of the FSA (Financial Services Association} qualifications. Two of these qualifications are Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and CFA Society in the UK Investment Management Certificate. Stockbroker training in a firm or institution will lead one to achieve FSA Approved Person Status after which one will be authorised to work unsupervised at a high level. The life of a stock broker can be stressful at times and the hours may be long but the career pays well. One must be highly numerate with a quick grasp of both theoretical and numerate concepts.
