How to become an expert stockbroker in the UK

There is something about a stockbroker that makes his career appear very glamorous and luxurious. In reality as well, despite the highly stressful life and long hours, a stockbroker’s schedule is very exciting and his remunerations are good provided he makes the right moves! Stockbroker training has to be preceded by at least a B in GCSE level with Maths and high A level grades and good undergraduate degree with preferably economics, finance or investment management.

If you wish to be a London stockbroker, you must complete one of the Financial Services Association qualification and examinations. You must go on thereafter to achieve FSA Approved Person Status. Your stockbroker training is not complete till you work for a firm where the firm confirms that you are capable of working at a high level unsupervised and nominate you for that status so that you can become a London stockbroker. You must undergo further training however, in keeping with the area in which you wish to specialise. Some larger firms may insist on SII and CFA qualifications.

The driving instructor’s career is one of pride, as you will see many of your students obtain their driver’s licences. However, you must have a passion for teaching and a good deal of patience. For training to be a driving instructor, you must be more than 21 and should have held a full UK or EU driving license for four of the last six years without any disqualification. For the driving instructor’s career to take off, you have to be an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

The training for ADI comprises of three sections that include theory, driving ability and driving technique. There is also an eyesight test and a test of your instructional ability. The different options in driving instructor jobs include work in a driving school or as a self-employed instructor in your own school. Of these, different driving instructor jobs, while you will enjoy career freedom in your own school, you will have the backup of a large driving school and the associated safety.

You can build yourself a successful career as a plumber but the first thing you have to know is the kind of plumber jobs that are available. Then you have to work towards the kind of job that appeals to you by undergoing the proper plumber training or apprenticeship and gain experience in that sub-branch of plumbing.

Plumber training is of two types, the formal and the private. In the formal method you need to do an evening course for two years in a college and earn level 2 and 3 NVQ Alternately, you could train with a private company and you could choose from among several training courses that are available.
